1. Objectives
The research mainly discussed the following issues:
(1) Build e-learning resource digital copyright model by utilizing educational technology standards and digital rights description language. At the same time not affect resource reuse, share, copyright transfer, utilize, and control.
(2) Design a payment-based access control strategy and algorithm according to e-business models, and ensure system security, controllability, and users’ legitimate interests at the same time. Carry out a non-payment access control strategy and algorithm to protect users’ privacy and rights through agreement or contract approach.
(3) Object-oriented resource management and digital copyright protection model.
2. Project origin
The project is supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China “The usage control model and application research of digital copyright” and Innovation Group Foundation of Hubei Province “Research on the theory and key technology of knowledge service”.
3. Achievements
We proposed a digital copyright description model and a learning resource control mechanism. Successfully applied for several invention patents and registered several kinds of computer software copyright. More than 10 papers have been indexed by SCI, EI, and ISTP.
(1) Invention patent: the management approach and servers of online digital copyrights.
(2) Invention patent: the management device of digital resources copyrights.
(3) Computer software copyrights: copyright protection system of digital media.
