On November 15^th, in order to cultivate students’ innovation and improve their awareness of serving other people, as well as inform students of the culture and the latest information about an enterprise, the course of starting a business, “E” Ideology and Political Center of the School of Educational Information Technology paid a visit to Laihua Digital Company in Wuhan. The visit was led by Feng Yuanhang, the manager of “E” Ideology and Political Center and some members of “E” Ideology and Political Center also took part in the activity.

After arriving at Laihua Digital Company in Wuhan, one worker in the company told the visitors the company’s current situations and its line of business including the platform of creating hand-painted videos, the service of designing videos and its educational system, making visitors have a deeper understanding of the company. With advanced animation cloud computing technology, Laihua offers people who don’t have painting and video-making experience an opportunity to easily express their idea by making their own video. And the designing business provides institutions and individuals that have strict requirements on the video’s quality with professional hand-painting videos. The educational system aims at designing and developing Internet education platform for different types of schools and help them carry out innovative education by hand-painting technology.

Then one worker showed visitors two excellent examples. One is about the 40^th anniversary of the Reform and Opening-up Policy, and the other is about introducing Military World Games held in Wuhan. Additionally, he also operated Laihua himself to let visitors know how to make hand-painting videos like making a PPT.

Then Liu Jiali, an excellent graduate of our school, the general manager of Laihua Digital Company in Wuhan, shared her own work experience including working for PhoenixNet, working as a we media operator. She also mentioned the opportunities and challenges during the course of starting up a business and the story of entering Laihua Digital Company. What’s more, she also gave opinions about pursuing career and individual’s hobbies that career and hobby could be separable, one can pursue his career and do things according to his interests at the same time. Additionally, she told the college students to seize opportunities and face challenges bravely, improve their core competence, accumulate more experience and read more books.

At last, there was an ask-and-answer part. Students communicated with Liu Jiali about starting up a business, animation, new media and career goals and asked related questions, such as “how to figure out my own career direction?”, ”whether I could do this work due to my interest in animation?”, “how to choose between career and interest? ”, “how to improve core competency?” and so on. And Liu Jiali gave her constructive suggestions according to her own experience, helping students clearly plan their future. Then the visiting and communicating activity came to an end.
