School of Education and Information Technology (Reporter Hao Mingxia) On October 25-27, 2019, our school launched the tenth Young Teacher Teaching Competition Finals, with 22 teachers from 20 colleges participating in the competition. After three links of teaching design, classroom teaching and field defense, our teacher Zhao Xiaoxiong finally won the first prize.
The labor union of our school held a teaching competition for young teachers in May, which lasted for a whole month to promote the teaching level and professional quality of young teachers and help them prepare for the school youth teacher learning competition. The competition is divided into three stages: trial, preliminary and final. The trials started from May 6th to May 17th, with the participation of all young teachers under the age of 45. Based on the organization of all teachers' listening and evaluating sessions, each department selected 7 teachers in total to enter the preliminary competition. The preliminary competition was held in the smart classroom of Teaching Building No. 8 on May 24. Professor Luo Qigui, head of the teaching supervision team, Professor Dai Shengli, the dean of the School of Public Management, Professor Li Rui from the School of Life Sciences, Associate Professor Tian Yuan from the School of Psychology, Professor Zhao Chengling and Professor Zhang Yi of our school attended the competition as the evaluation committee. The competition was divided into two groups to run simultaneously. The final was held in the studio on the sixth floor of Building 9 on the afternoon of May 31, with Professor Luo Qigui, head of the teaching supervision team, Professor Zhou Dongming, the chairman of the school's labor union, and Professor Li Rui from the School of Life Sciences as the judges. Wei Yantao, Wang Zhifeng, Zhao Xiaoxiong and Long Taotao have been competing fiercely for promotion to the final and showed their lessons on the spot. After expert evaluation, Zhao Xiaoxiong won the first place in the final of the college.
It is reported that from October 25 to 27, the final was held in Nanhu Comprehensive Building, with 22 outstanding young teachers from 20 colleges competing in the same field. In order to ensure the fairness of the competition, the labor union specially invited 20 professors and 2 evaluation experts from all participating units to serve as judges. The whole final video was recorded, the expert scores was uploaded in real time, and the results of all competitors was announced immediately. Our university has successively held ten consecutive teaching competitions for young teachers, which not only provide a display platform for young teachers, guide them to return to the classroom, and return to teaching and education, but also build a platform for young teachers' teaching discussion and experience exchange, playing a positive role in improving the teaching level of young teachers and building a high-quality and professional teaching team.
