On August 12th, the school president, also the director of National Engineering Laboratory for Technology of Big Data Applications in Education, Yang Zongkai, led a delegation to Jiangsu Education Information Center to discuss cooperation between the two sides. Ge Daokai, director of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, party secretary,and secretary of the Provincial Education Committee met Director Yang Zongkai, and accompanied to investigate Jiangsu Provincial Education Data Center Room, Operation Monitoring Center, Call Center and Resource Research and Development Center. The two sides also launched talks on some cooperation projects, such as constructing a branch center of National Engineering Laboratory for Technology of Big Data Applications in Education in Jiangsu, monitoring report and training on the development of education information.
At the forum, Yang Zongkai introduced the basic situation of NELTBDAE. He said that "Four First-class" development ideas proposed by Jiangsu Province are highly consistent with the “ugbs”development ideas(combining of first-rate research institution,government, enterprise, school )proposed by CCNU, and the cooperation of Jiangsu Province Education Information Center and CCNU is based on the cooperation of first-class education information organization and top experts team. Through two sides cooperation such as construction of Education Big Data Center, formulating of Education Information Standard, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Teacher Training, it can form the closed loop of life cycle for education information decision-making, implement, monitoring and evaluation, and actively promote the transformation of Jiangsu education information from the application stage to the integration and innovation stage.
In his speech, Ge Daokai pointed out that education information is "number one" project, comprehensive work, involving the whole process of change of education from the concept to the process. Party committees and governments at all levels in Jiangsu, and all walks of life attach great importance to education, and the development of education has been at a high level. Education modernization and information technology should have its own characteristics and innovations. He stressed that Jiangsu is the first to achieve modernization of education, not only indicators should be in the forefront of the country, but also let education make sense for the common people. The construction of education information should not only pay more attention to investment, but also to output, and more emphasis should be laid on application orientation and integration orientation. Integration is the key point of education modernization and information.
