Associate Dean International, faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences, University of Wollongong (UOW), Australia.Current research interests include single and multichannel speech and audio signal processing, spatial audio signal processing, acoustic signal processing for microphone and loudspeaker arrays, acoustic design of musical instruments and multimedia Quality of Experience (QoE).
Overview:
In this keynote lecture, Professor Ritz will first introduce the significant research being conducted within Computer Science and Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Wollongong. The remainder of the lecture will be dedicated to the exciting field of signal and information processing, which is a key enabling technology for today’s multimedia world.
